12jul26 FINAL ROUNDUP AND NEXT COMP

So big news is the win for Steve Carter first played in comp #38 March 2015 so this is his 16th comp (he's missed the odd one or two) previous best was a 3rd in 2018 actually on a larger total than this win £32.11!  I think the lesson learned here is -£25 with 3 days to go and £56 behind it is still possible.  So congratulations to Steve and a great deal of sympathy to Mark leader for so long played brilliantly in his attempt to defend the title only ever done once and not for the last 20 years

Good winner for Jimmy McGarrity on the last day as well 16-1 to go 3rd and 15-2 for Tom McGarrity to go 9th and miss the cash by 62p

A few words about the plate Stuart from start to finish to go 3rd on the all time list with 5 wins 1 behind Justin Sercombe.  Ian Carpenter back in the top 2 for the first time since #23 (August 2009)

Proposed dates for next comp allowing for summer holidays and targeting a nice meeting to end (Windsor for the Berkshire Million series the end of Jan 27) - suggests a start towards the end of October a nice new season jumps event that works well.

Have a good summer everyone and GO ENGLAND!

LIVE FROM THE COURSE

Super high drama on the last day Steve Carter pops in a 33-1 winners to follow up his 25-1 winner on Friday to zoom up to £31.15 £1.19 ahead of Mark Lowry the leader for most of the comp - definitely a caught on the line

Full update later on tonight

11jul26 JUST ONE

Gary Pascoe napped Dave Klein Salisbury runner and it turned over the 4-9 favourite in fine style last minute withdrawn horse mean only 5-1 not around 8-1 which is of some impact to Gary's leader board position.

Quick reminder nap must be in a face before the last at Stratford so basically that means no naps in the 5.30 at Dundalk

Good luck all

10jul26 BIG WINNER

Steve Carter gives himself a chance of some cash moving to 11th with a 25-1 winner, Stuart Bentham sewed up the plate as Ian's didn't find a winner Mark Lowry set the target to aim for with a 15-8 winner and sits more than £16 clear.  The final winner was me 9-2 which was 2p short of me regaining 2nd spot - lets see what Kevin does in the morning will he still aim for Mark Lowry and the win or bank 2nd?

Tie at the top of the loser table not sure what the tie break should be maybe fewest winners :-)
