Only 17 bets today and 3 winners best was 7-2 for me the other 2 were less than 2-1

Rod surging clear in the plate with his long odds on tactic now on 36 points with 6 winners from just 12 bets.

Busiest day so far 27 bets and 6 winners - best of those was only 15-8 and the shortest 1-7, so no changes at the top especially as Vince and Lee both had losers.

Bit of a change in the plate with Rod taking over in 1st and Kevin on the same 31 points going 2nd on number of bets countback.

Quiet day today just one winner Neil at 9-4. So no change at the top since the excel update. Order is 1st Vince +31.00, Lee +13.33, Jake +7.99, Gary P +7.29, and in 5th Roger D +7.25.

Plate - a 3rd for Jed today saw him go to 28 points and just 1 clear of Roger of 27 although he has already had 16 bets 5 more than Jed - slow down Roger! Real leader of the plate is probably Rod who is on 26 from only 10 bets

18 bets 3 winners both new boys Neil & Barry hit the same 6-1 winner with Kevin W the only other winner at 11-10f. So no movement at the top of the main comp, Neil did move positive at +1.25 but that is still only 10th.

New leader in the plate Kevin W takes over on 19 from Roger on the same score on 2nd place count back.

Forgot to say that all players have now had a bet so prizes are confirmed for 33 players as follows:

13 bets and 3 winners today the best of which was 15-8. Main comp top 2 didn't bet Roger slipped back 1.00 by virtue of a loser.

Plate Roger went top on 18 points only 1 point ahead of jed having had 2 more bets

A quiet day but another strong >50% return. Just 11 bets but 6 winners, best was from the leader, Vince with a 10-1 winner in a poxy seller at Hereford, but good pick. Others was a 3rd for Roger at 5-1 to move him to 3rd overall, Lee held on to 2nd by 50p by virtue of a no bet.

Jed & Roger take over at the top of the plate on 17 points with Rod & Jake in joint 3rd on 15

I mean 24 bets and 1 winner!! Only one winner and that an 8-11f winner from Gary D.

No further commentary required no change on either leaderboard!

So if you carry on doing the same thing and picking the same set of players then don't be surprised you get the result - drop some of these big names bring anyone else in how can they do any worse?

In a slight aside from last night 5 good winners yesterday Pat Q treadwell @ 14-1, Lee, Ken J, Mark K all got Memory at 15-2 & Roger D at 7-2f

So Vince on +16.00 is now only 2.00 clear of Lee in 2nd - no change in plate

24 bets 5 winners and a few good ones! Vince 20-1 and Gary P and Roger Dore (new boy) both had 9-1 winners. So all change at the top Vince +17.00 in first, Gary P +8.00 2nd, 3rd Lee +6.50, 4th Roger +5.00 and last money position 5th is me at +4.50.

19 bets 3 winners Jake, Jed, and Ricky P, with his first bet. The best was Ricky at 9-2 to go straight into 3rd spot behind Lee +7.50 and me +5.50.

20 bets 6 winners Lee posted a 17-2 winner at Royal Ascot to go top 1.00 ahead of me with 1 bet less.

In the plate Rod hit a double and is now 2 from 2 on 10 points with Kevin D and Jake F also on 10 points but from 3 bets.

First time Kevin D has ever made it to the blog as I only ever discuss the leaders!!

so just 15 bets today but 8 winners - I'm not sure we have ever had a sucess rate of >50% in a day before! Best winner was Tim at 9-2 followed by Steve at 4-1 other all shorter, obviously!

So that still leaves me in the lead in the main comp +7.50 and Tim 2nd +3.50. Mark Kelly takes over at this very early stage on 7 points in the plate with just 9 of us tied on 5 points in 2nd!
