Sorry out last night and a few late runners.  Gerry McCann continues his good progress with a 5-1 winner to go second and finally we have someone trying to breach the gap to the leader.  3 other winners and they were Kevin Dighton 9-2 to get back on the leader board Michael Brook 7-2, & Pete Long 1-8!

Another decent day headed by Gerry McCann who moved to 3rd spot with an 11-2 winner, Kevin Wood & Tom McGarrity both 4-5, Michael Brook, Mark Nutting & Paul Berg all 4-1, Martin Long 9-2 to move exactly level above Vince and on the leader board so a good day for him!

8 winners half of them the accounted for by the top 4 in the plate who all did the same 5-6 winner for 10 points.  Others were Paul Berg 9-4, Mark Nutting 6-5, Kevin Wood 4-5, & Andy Stevens by far the best of the day with a 10-1 winner.

Well 9 but that seemed like a lot and some decent odds.  Joint top were Chris Pascoe & Nigel Clifford both 8-1, others included Andy Warmington, Michael Brook both 7-1, Gemma Thompson, Rod Brown, Steve Taylor & Richard Pascoe all 7-2, & finally Paul Stobbard 4-1.

5 winners on this soggy day where i specifically left the turf alone because of the weather and then my horse broke down and didn't finish on the fibresand!! Those that did capture a winner were Vince Paige 10 points to immediately recapture the lead in the plate, Jason McConkey & Steve Taylor both 2-1, Jimmy McGarrity 7-4 and Kevin Wood best of the day but only at 5-2.

Nice easy day for me then everything off on Sunday.  Back to Saturday where being in the pub from 1pm to 7.30pm rather got in the way of the update!  There were 9 winners with the top 4 in the plate all going for the same 4-5 winner and 10 points each in the plate, I got back on track with Altior at 1-3, Pete Long best of the day and back to the top with his 6-1 winner, Roger Dore & Gerry McCann both 7-2 enough to take Roger 3rd and bring Gerry onto the foot of the leader board.  Finally Ian Carpenter 8-15.

As usual I suppose, just 5 winners and best of the day and off the mark for Kevin Dighton at 8-1, Paul Mott on the leader board for the first time this comp with a nice 5-1 winner, Robert Logan & Stuart Bentham both the same 8-15 winner and finally Tom McGarrity 4-6.

7 players went for the 1-3 shot and anti post favourite that fell at the last today ruining lots of winning sequences, so that meant only 4 winners today Gary Dighton 8-5 to go 4th, Richard Pascoe 5-4, Steve Taylor off the mark with a 15-8 winners and best of the day for Tom Feeney at 8-1 to go 2nd.
