14oct24 SLUGGING IT OUT

All happening at the top of the table today, George Casserly bangs in a 9-2 winner to regain the lead but only for a few minutes as Adrian Hunt lays down a real marker with a 20-1 winner to again surge clear for a couple of hours for the leader to show his class and land a 15-2 winner to regain and retain his top spot.  All that leaves us now even further of the top.  Apart from those 3 there was Stuart Bentham even money winner, Dave Brammer 9-4, Frank Tubman 11-4 & finally both Gary Pascoe & Helen Fahey scored with a 2-5 winner.

Sunday 13 October 2024

13oct24 HALF A DOZEN

Winners four of the were on the 2-9 winner of the first fairly easy to guess those winners Stuart Bentham, Mark Lowry, Robert Logan and Helen Fahey, the only other winner was for Gary Pascoe & George Casserly at 11-10.  So very little movement on either leader board.

Check out the file there are now 9 players who are dormy and are getting forced losers

12oct24 ONE HORSE WON

Just two successful selections today both on the same horse the 6-1 winner of the sprint trophy, they were Gary Pascoe now 4th and Paul Berg now the new leader, looks like the 3rd win might be on!

11oct24 BIG MOVERS

A 14-1 winner for Dave Brammer best of the day zoomed him up to 4th spot behind another big mover Paul Berg 11-2 to go 3rd, anyone's comp this time all to play for.  Four winners in total the other two were Jimmy McGarrity 2-1 (3 from the last 5) & Jason Stevens 7-2

Thursday 10 October 2024

10oct10 NOT FOR LONG

Not for long as George hits straight back and retakes the lead by 34p after a 5-2 winner, the same price as Pete Long's winner which puts him 12th.  There were 6 winners in total the other 4 were Mark Lowry 1-2, Roger Dore 7-1, Richard Hunt 7-2 to go 11th and finally another 5-2 winner for George Waters.

09oct24 NEW LEADER

Double update day and a new leader.  Firstly Tuesday quiet day just 3 winners who were all on the same horse at 8-1, Spenser Mills, Jake Fifield & Mark Sharman.

Today, Spenser Mills followed up with a 6-1 winner and moved into the top half after a slow start, but the main news was Gary Dighton's different 6-1 winner to take him top George has 3 more bet to have than Gary so for me that's pretty even.  In fact there were 11 winners today Vince & me 15-8, Mark Lowry & Stuart Bentham 4-11, Shelly Wood & Ray Harper both 85-40, Ben Cheetham 2-1 Dave Brammer 7-2 & last another 6-1 winner for Paul Berg to move him from 10th to 5th, could Paul, become one of the rare 3 time winners he last won twice in 2012.

CORRECTION - Ben Cheetham's pick was 2nd not first! - thanks Ben

Tuesday will be updated Wednesday

Monday 7 October 2024

06oct24 ANOTHER SLOW ONE

Again just two winners and both nice prices the first of significance 9-1 for Adrian Hunt moving him right into contention in 3rd and one rather more shall we say inspired 20-1 for Pete Long (beat the plate boys selection into 2nd by a nose) to move him £4.00 up and 12th - of course I'm sure nothing to do with the names of his children :-)

Sunday 6 October 2024

05oct24 BUSY AND GOOD DAYS RACING

Bumper 9 winners Saturday boosted by the top 4 in the plate all picking the same horse for the second day running, this time it won at 1-2 and 10 points each.  Andy Warmington continued his good recent form and march up the table with a 6-1 winner appearing on the leader board for the first time this comp in 8th. 04oct24 JUST 3

On a less than average day another low winner count Harry Warmington 13-8 to nudge up a spot in the plate Ronan Casserly 3-1 & Tom McGarrity 4-6.

Friday 4 October 2024

03oct24 LATE RUNNERS ON THURSDAY

6 winners on Thursday and they were Stuart Bentham 8-13, Tom Feeney 9-2, another decent winner for Andy Warmington 15-2 to put him at +£2.08 just off the leader board.  The other 3 were Gary Dighton evens trying to slowly reel in George at the top, Ian Carpenter 15-8 & finally best of the day for Richard Pascoe 12-1 so that's just 2 winners but now back positive on 63p up and 16th.

Thursday 3 October 2024

30sep24 BUSY MONDAY
