Other winners were Vince Paige & Gary Dighton both with a 9-2 winner the best of the day, Dave Fifield who picked up his first winner at 7-2, & Martin Long with a 5-2 winner to go 6th.
Alan Mabb's winner took him a little further clear in the Plate as all the rest of leaderboard could only find 2 points between them.
