29NOV17 Vinnie strikes!

No, not that one but the horse Definately Vinnie at 25-1 for Jo Hutson now closed right up on our leader Steve Carter in 2nd place, and another making good progress to the leader is Dave Klein with a nice 9-1 winner. 7 winners in total so the other 5 were Craig Connelly 6-1,  Chris Martin off the mark with a 5-2 winner, Darren Mills 7-2 to go 25p up, Jamie Hill 5-2, and finally Terry Matthews also off the mark today with a 15-2 winner. 

28NOV17 Only one story today

That's Brian Hammon's off the mark 22-1 winner to catapult him straight into 4th spot - nice one.  Only 4 other winners Martin Long & Mark Lowry both 4-5, Jason McConkey 15-8 & 9-4 for Rod Brown - That's it

27NOV17 Give us a chance!

Steve Carter, the leader, strikes again 7-2 to cross into the certain profit status i.e. +41.00 with only 40 bets to go very early to achieve that, has he slipped the field?  8 other winners, Vince picked up a nice 8-13 winner for 10 points and forges clear in the plate, however the others didn't play.  Andy Grinter 11-10, Helen Fahey 13-8, Lee Constable 7-2, Mark Lowry evens, Nobby Camunzuli brought up a double with the best of the day 6-1 and finally Tom Feeney 5-1 & Tom McGarrity 1-2.

26NOV17 Loads of winners!

Well, 10 actually headed by Pete Long at 12-1 to go 4th.  Vince, Jake Fifield & Stuart all napped Samcro at 1-4 for a cert 5 points who's performance was described by the Sporting Life as having made it "favourite for everything"! Jason McConkey, Martin Long, Nobby Camunzuli, Mark Lowry & Tom McGarrity all 7-4, and finally Jimmy McGarrity 5-2 to go 7th.

Probably the performance of the day, for us 7 winners, me 5-2, Jake Fifield the only one on Bristol 11-10 and 5 joint best of the day winners Pete Long, off the mark,  Nigel Clifford, Roger Dore, Steve Carter (again!!) & Tom Feeney all 6-1.

Not many days when best of the day is odds on Annette Berg 5-6 and the only other winners were Stuart Bentham & Vince Paige both 8-13.

Only 4 winners today Annette Berg & Kevin Roberts both 13-8, Jimmy Mcgarrity 11-8, and best of the day for Mark Nutting at 6-1 to move joint fifth. 

20NOV17 Another shuffle at the top

Steve Carter pops in the best of the day at 8-1 and goes top, Craig Connelly, Dave Klein, Gary Dighton, Jo Hutson, all 7-2, Rod Brown 9-4, & finally Kevin Roberts scrapes onto the foot of the table with a nice 6-1 winner.

19NOV17 Slow Day

Just 3 winners today from 37 bets mainly because The New One didn't win as there were 8 naps for that!  Best of the day was for Dave Brammer 7-1, the other two were Ian Carpenter 10 points again for his 11-4 winner and Paul Stobbart 6-1.

18NOV17 Final

Well, a good job we waited as Dave's late nap won at 10-1 not quite enough to grab the top spot from Adrian but he sits 2nd now.  Overall their were 9 winners so the other 7 consisted of the 3 plate boys all on the same 10 point 4-5 winner in Ireland (Vince, Stuart, & Justin) Ian Carpenter joined them with his own 10 pointer at 11-4 to move 4th in the plate so we should expect that these top 4 will now pull away and leave the rest of us to fight for the 5th and final spot that pays in the plate.  Martin Long 11-10, Steve Carter & Tom Feeney both 7-1 made up the rest. 

18NOV17 Interim update

While we wait for Dave Klein's 8.45 selection! A big winner today Adrian Hunt 25-1 Splash of Ginge (how did that win!!) that brought up a treble and took him top at +26.50

17NOV17 Nothing dramatic

7 winners again from only 37 bets on a day with some pretty good racing.  Best of the was Andy Stevens, former champion, with a very nice 11-1 winner to move 11th, others were Martin Long a strange 1-5 selection, me 10-11, Adrian Hunt, Paul Berg & Robert Logan all 13-2 and finally Jason McConkey 9-2.

7 winners today and the most important was Steve Taylors's nap that won at 6-1 and he gave me as a tip and I took 11-1 this afternoon - nice.  Other Winners were Gary Wheeler, Kevin Dighton, Rod Brown, & all 3-1, Jake Fifield 6-1 and best of the day was Richard Pascoe at 10-1 finally Justin Sercombe 4-6 to take over at the top of the plate.

15NOV17 Only one story

No not Italy definite schadenfreude with that one!! I mean Jo with her 16-1 winner to leap into 3rd spot, not unknown heights but been a while!  Only another 4 winners they were Adrian Hunt off the mark with a 4-1 winner, Ian Carpenter 4-11, with both Jimmy McGarrity & Michael Brook scoring with a 9-2 winner to take them to 7th & 5th respectively. 

Vince managed to get a nap through from the Arctic (Tromso) which lost and here he is!!

Pretty sparse on the winners today just 4 of us that's me evens, Mark Lowry who brought up a 4 timer & Kevin Wood to get off the mark both 1-2 and best of the day for Gary Dighton just 15-8!

34 players today but not too many winners only 6 best of the day was Gary Dighton 6-1, Annette Berg 3-1, Andy Grinter 4-1, Martin Long 15-8, Natasha Tizzano 4-6, Tom Mcgarrity 2-5 were the others.

11NOV17 Another new leader

All change again after Saturday as Dave Klein bashes in with the largest winner to date at 22-1 to leap into number one spot.  Other winners yesterday were me 6-4, Jason McConkey 4-1, Justin & Stuart (the plate boys) both 1-3, Vince is away on holiday somewhere in the world without wifi or phones - is there anywhere like that left! Finally, Mark Lowry moves back onto the leaderboard with a 5-2 winner. 

10NOV17 late winners Friday

6 winners in all on Friday and two large late ones Steve Carter 10-1 to go top and Nigel Clifford, off the mark in style with a 14-1 winner that took him into 8th spot

09NOV17 Lead changes again

Helen Fahey wins again 9-2 and takes over at the top.  Only 6 in total and the other 5 were Vince Paige & Stuart Bentham 2-5 missing out on a 10 pointer with a late non-runner, Justin Sercombe best of the day and a nice 10 pointer at 6-1 so that moves him to 2nd in the plate and 6th in the main comp.  The final pair were Annette Berg 5-2, and Gary Dighton off the mark with an even money shot. 

08NOV17 All Change

13 winners today and all change at the top!  Joint best of the day was Stuart McLeod who got off the mark and Michael Brook both 10-1, 5 players all had 6-1 winners they were, Gary Wheeler, Jo Hutson, kevin Roberts, Mark Nutting & Tommy Smith, Tom McGarrity & Ian Carpenter both 6-5, Stuart Bentham 17 1dave Brammer both 2-5, Nobby Camunzuli, 3-1 and last, but by no means least, Mark Sharman 9-1.

9 winners today Helen Fahey topped the pile with a nice 5-1 winner to go 2nd, Dave Brammer fed up no being on the scoreboard pick up a 1-5 winner.  Jason McConkey also off the mark with a 5-2 shot, Martin Long & Roger Dore both 11-4, Nobby Camunzuli & Rod Brown both 5-4, Robert Logan 7-4 and Stuart Bentham making sure of his 5 points with a 2-7 winner.

Spenser found another 3 stragglers to join and Tim Catlin bowed out, so a net new 2 players we are now at 59.

Rubbish Monday delivered just 6 winners best of the day by a mile was Mark Nutting at 6-1 to move 3rd 3 players picked Ply at 10-11 they were Andy Grinter, Ian Carpenter & Mark Lowry, Helen Fahey popped in with a 3-1 winner leaving just Vince Paige also 10-11 to move a little further away from Ben Cheetham whose winning run came to an end today.

05NOV17 Bang Bang Boom

But not with us best of the day was just a measly 9-4 for Carl Dean, 2 winners at 7-4, Ben Cheetham still going now a 6 timer, and me off the mark at last.  The other 3 winners were all 4-5 Kevin Roberts Tom McGarrity & Vince Paige enough to end Vince's one-day absence from the top of the plate!

Gary Wheeler & Roger Dore both napped Colin's sister today at 10-1 to go first and second, plenty of other winners as well.  Jimmy McGarrity 7-1, Annette Berg 15-8, Andy Stevens 9-2 to make the foot of the leaderboard,  Ben Cheetham 10-11 that's a five timer and the number one spot in the plate and Robert Logan 6-1 to move joint 6th.  Finally Justin Sercombe 5-4 & Martin Long off the mark with a 5-2 shot. 

03NOV17 Nearly all in

So ignoring the two with selections late evening as it is a Friday night and I'm out! then we have 6 winners from 37 bets today.  The joint best of day were Lee Constable who is 2 from 2 both of them 3-1 winners, he goes 2nd & Helen Fahey who got off the mark with a 3-1 winner.  The other 4 winners were Ben Cheetham who brought up a 4 timer 8-11, and Roger Dore with the same winner, Stuart Bentham 4-9 & Tom McGarrity 11-8 were the other 2.

Sorry to Tommy Smith for rejecting his selection that went on to win - must be received by me at least 30 minutes before the start time of your race if that race is before the general 1.30 cut off for all bets.
