 As all those still playing (17 forced losers today) try and find the hail Mary pick winners are very sparse on the ground just Robert Logan 4-9 & 11-1 for Paul Stobbart to lift him to +21p and 20th

29may23 ONE WINNER

Just Stuart Bentham 2-5 and now in 9th place on the all time scores list.

28may23 LIVERPOOL COME ON

Need them to not loose for 2nd in the Ross Harvey football comp.  Meanwhile back here another big winner 22-1 for Roger Dore to take him to 20th and just £2.50 down.  That was one of just 4 winners including Stuart Bentham 2-5 and 5 points he is now obviously the winner of the plate and just 3 points away from another entry on the top 10 best ever scores, 42 winners very impressive.  The other two winners were Tom McGarrity 5-1 to move into the last cash paying position 9th, and Gary Dighton continuing his last minute dash for cash with a 9-2 winner and 11th spot.   

27may23 SLOW DAY

Just 4 winners today most significant was another for the leader Spenser Mills 4-1 and now well clear.  Others were Jon Caley also 4-1, Jason Stevens best of the day 7-1 & Tom McGarrity another 4-1 winner to nudge up a spot or two.  All quite tight just below the last cash potion occupied by George Waters but he is dormy.  

IMPORTANT CORRECTION - Tom Feeney had a late winner 8-1 to move to +£37.35 and 4th place - sorry Tom

26may23 ANOTHER BIG ONE

Gary Dighton 25-1 enough to move him into contention for a small cash prize now he sits 12th 7 other winners including the leader 5-1 which may just about have wrapped the comp up for him and that would be well deserved.  Vince stopped messing about and picked a 4-6 10 pointer as he started to get worried tht George waters might nick his 4th place prize - that put him in his place :-)

25may23 JUST 3

Stuart Bentham another 4-9 winner to creep closer to the all time top 10, A couple of other winners for players further down the pack John Caley 17-2 & Tommy Smith 15-2

24may23 TWO MORE AT 14's

Tom Feeney chased Paul Berg up the leader board into 4th and 5th as they both picked a 14-1 winner.  Can't believe that at over £15 up Martin Long doesn't even make the cash - quality comp.  The other 2 winners were Kevin Wood 5-6 & Chris Martin 5-4.  

23may23 CHASING HIM DOWN

6 winners and the most significant was Andy Warmington again 9-1 and closing in on the leader who definitely need his 4-1 winner to keep the gap in double figures, George Waters also picked the same 9-1 winner to move 6th.  Mark Nutting 4-1 winners and Stuart Bentham brought up his 40th winner of the comp 1-6 and 10 points only needs another 15 points to get onto the all time top 10 plate totals of all time - looks nailed on to me!  

22may23 TOP 2 DOMINANCE BROKEN

Andy Warmington collects an 11-1 winner and moves 2nd still a bit off the leader, who joined Robert Logan & Stuart Bentham with a 2-7 winner to consolidate at the top.  That just leaves the 100-30 winner for George Waters to nudge him up a spot or two.   

A FEW MORE BIG WINNERS

7 winners today and again some nice prices, best was 16-1 for Darren Mills to take him 5th.  Two on the 11-1 winner were Paul Stobbart & Tom McGarrity, others were Gary Dighton 8-1, Andy Warmington & Spenser Mills both 85-40    

20may23 ONE MISSING

 So without the ridiculously late selection of Tom McGarrity as I'm going out we have had just 2 winners George Waters 3-1 to nudge up a couple of spots and Stuart Bentham 4-11 to push home his advantage in the plate

 Four very nice winners today best was Chris Pascoe 28-1 only his 2nd winner and now in 8th different tactic clearly working.  Two platers had 10-1 winners Brendan Bergin & Mark Lowry which lifted Mark to 11th final 9-1 for Tom Feeney which moved him onto the leader board as well in 9th

Just 3 winners for us today Andy Warmington, Chris Martin & Paul Berg 7-1, 3-1, 6-1, respectively that moved Andy up to 3rd spot, probably too far away but gives himself a chance  

17may23 ANOTHER BIG ONE!

Richard Pascoe bangs in a 25-1 winner today to go just 17p down, other winners were Stuart Bentham 4-9 to gain a couple more points lead and Colin Warmington a nice 12-1 winner t give him a little hope.

Chris Martin our only winner at 6-1 enough to move him into the money in 8th.  

15may23 NORMAL SERVICE RESUMED

6 winners half of them for the Stuart, Robert, 7 Vince plate boys at 4-9, but the story of the day is another big winner, John Heneghan 22-1 only his 2nd winner but only £9 down now.  The other two were George Waters 6-4 and another winner for Shelly Wood 9-4, now only £16 behind and having played 6 games more, can history repeat itself will Spenser "do an Arsenal" 

14may23 BACK IN BLIGHTY

6 winners today stand out was the 10-1 for Dave Brammer, and to be fair he needed it!  The others were Mark Sharman & Jimmy McGarrity both 4-1, Martin Long continued his good form (5 from 6) with an even money shot.  Paul Stobbart 5-1 and another nice winner for Shelly Wood 9-2 who continues to close the gap a bit, maybe all is not lost

I'm on a train so not sure how successful the email will be but I'll give it a try now the 500 teenagers have got off the train after their concert at the NEC

 8 winners Thursday & 6 winners yesterday - none of hem game changing.  Martin Long worthy of a quick mention bringing up a 4 timer and moving up to 6th.

Robert & Stuart both had the same 4-9 winner at the top of the plate, other winners were Chris Martin 2-1, George Waters & Shelly Wood both 9-4 and finally Steve Taylor best of the day 7-2

09may23 ROBERT HITS BACK

3 winners, 10-11 for Robert Logan to retake the lead in the plate, Tom Feeney the stand out winner at 22-1 to zoom up to 11th & Martin Long 5-2.  

08may23 JUST 4

Slow day today, just 4 winners Martin Long evens to move up one place to 7th,  George Waters 11-8, Roger Dore best of the day 13-2, and finally and relentlessly Stuart another 5 pointer at 4-9, that's 9 winners from the last 10 bets, ok not one of the odds against but great stuff and he takes over at the top of the plate.

And a couple of players got it 9-1 winner for Audrey Duffy, now challenging for 2nd and Dave Sharman back on the leader board.  Three other winners Andy Warmington 5-1 puts him 4th, Jimmy McGarrity 5-2 and George Waters 100-30 also back on the leader board.

06may23 FIRST CLASSIC

And what a poor performance by the two O'Brien horses, for us just 4 winners the stand out was Chris Martin 10-1 in the last (hence the late update), others were the top two in the plate both scored 10 points and our impressive leader 10-11.

04may23 PULLING AWAY

 The top two in the plate along with Kevin Wood all picked the same 10 pointer at 4-7 definite gap opening up now.  Audrey Duffy moved up to 3rd after her 7-2 winner, there were two more Mark Nutting 5-2 and Martin Long 6-5.

03may23 ANOTHER ONE

Spenser does it again 13-2 great stuff, another 4 successes today they were 5-1 George Waters & Gary Cawsey and Mark Lowry 4-1 and Mark Nutting 7-4.

02may23 MORE DOUBLE FIGURE WINNERS

Joint best of the day at 12-1, for the leader, Spenser Mills, to go even further clear & Terry Matthews to go 50p up.  Paul Berg 17-2 helped the cause and Stuart Bentham popped in a 8-13 winner to bring up a 6 timer.  

Staggeringly good performance from Spenser the average winning total across the whole 50 comps is only £38 and given that the worst Spenser can finish is already above that illustrates the point.  Only 3 totals higher than the current £66.00 Spenser is up have ever been recorded, they were Lee Constable best ever £118.91 (included a 100-1 winner), Pete long £95.22 (included a 66-1 winner) and Gary Dighton £68.76, the most recent in 2018.

4 winners today Colin Warmington 5-2, Darren Mills best of the day 5-1 to move up one spot into 6th and the top two in the plate Robert Logan 1-2, Stuart Bentham 2-13.  Looks like it might be developing into a 2 horse race at the top.
