Gary Cawsey shows there is hope for us all moving from last place to the leader board in one go with a 22-1 winner. Andy Stevens moved 3rd with a nice 10-1 winner this evening. All 4 leaders in the plate did the same winner at 30-100! sad or what. leaving the final two winners as Jimmy McGarrity 15-2 to also make the leader board, but only because I extended it, and Chris Pascoe off the mark with a 11-10 winner.

Audrey Duffy, another rookie, bangs in a 20-1 winner to go 2nd - great stuff! The top 4 in the plate all did the rather sad 1-6 winner to score 5 points each and on top of all that there was another 4 winners for Gary Dighton 6-1, Gary Cawsey, Kevin wood & Mark Nutting all 11-10.
Slow Day today the Vince Stuart combo is back they both had a 4-6 winner and the only other person to trouble the scorer was Paul Stobbart 9-2 to go back positive.
Has Shelly Wood already put the comp to bed? She won again at 9-1 and joined on the same winner by Chris Martin, now 4th, & Paul Berg 14th. Nine winners in total so the other 6 were Pete Long 11-2, Ross Harvey 6-5 & 10 points, Andy Stevens 3-1 to move 7th, Gary Pascoe 6-4 he's now 8th, Mark Lowry 7-2 & finally Robert Logan 5-6 to relegate Stuart to 3rd in the plate a position well outside Stuart's comfort zone!

Really only one story today that was the 50-1 winner for Shelly Wood, this is restricted to a maximum of 33-1 but still top by a massive margin. There were some other pretty good winners as well Gary Pascoe back on the leader board 6-1, Dave Sharman 2nd winner in 3 days, 11-1 now 13th, Ian carpenter & Stuart Bentham both 6-5 Ben Cheetham and Pete Long 15-8. Well done Kelly a keen fan and knows her stuff so we have our work cut out to reel that back in
But hardly any movement Tom Elliston nudged up a place or two with his 2-1 winner best of the day was Kevin Dighton off the nark at 4-1 and then 3 players on the 2-7 winner Vince Stuart and the plate imposter Robert Logan so far showing the others how it is done!

Gold Cup day didn't see many winners (4) but the stand out was Tommy Smith 18-1 with Ben Cheetham 7-5, Paul Stobbart 11-8, & Ross Harvey 100-30 the only others to trouble the scorer.

Dave Bentley sits out and takes over at the top, we achieved another 7 winners today Stuart Bentham & Robert Logan both even money, Andy Warmington off the mark with a 7-2 shot, with the exact same story for Tommy Smith, Tom Feeney 9-4, Gary Pascoe 8-13 & Jon Caley 11-4 were the other three.
Work is stopping me going to all 4 days this year but will be there Thursday & Friday Quevega or Arkle bars the likely pre race haunts.
