Only just not for me my 4-9 selection finished a plucky 5th out of 7.  Best of the day was Adrian Hunt 14-1 to go back onto the leader board in 12th, 2 players had the same 11-1 winner Gary Pascoe to go 14th and Andy Stevens to go 3rd.  Other winners were Mark Lowry 9-4, Mark Nutting & Shelly Wood 11-4, Robert Logan 11-10 - so 7 in total, excel on its way

9 winners me & Stuart Bentham 1-2, Ross Harvey11-4, Tom Feeney & Sonya Paige both 12-1, Darren Mills 14-1, Gary Cawsey 7-1, Martin Long 6-1, Audrey Duffy 5-1 so some nice winners all around

28apr23 LATE SORRY

Have to drive back Friday from "up north" so finding I'm straight on the wine and the update looses its priority!  Yesterday just 4 winners me 8-11, Stuart Bentham 1-2, Robert Logan 5-6 and so not much to beat for the best of the day title for Kevin Wood, 11-4 to nudge up a couple of places to 7th.

8 winners best of the day for Paul Berg who halts a long losing streak and moves back 6th with a 12- winner the same winner as Colin Warmington.  Others were me & Kevin Wood 3-1, Dave Brammer & Stuart Bentham both 10-11 & Martin Long, getting the tactics right after his fluke 66-1 winner yesterday and moving back to short priced stuff this one 5-2.  Finally Ross Harvey 11-4

Another day of big winners 66-1 (restricted) for Martin Long, to go 6th, Tom McGarrity 14-1, Stuart Mills 10-1 and Stuart Bentham 4-5, were the 4 winners from 36 selections!

Just 4 winners Stuart Bentham & Robert Logan both picking up 5 points with their 8-11 winner and both on the leader board as well.  Steve Taylor followed up yesterday's 7-2 winner with another at the same price and that leaves the 4-1 winner chosen by Tom Elliston as the best of the day.

Spenser Mills starts to stretch away now with a 6-1 winner one of 7 on the day.  Others were me & Kevin Wood 11-5, Steve Taylor 7-2, Gary Pascoe 4-1, Mark Lowry 2-1, & finally a good day in the plate for Robert Logan with a 10-11 5 point winner.

Three massive winner on the same day two of them for players to get off the mark Chris Pascoe  66-1 sadly restricted to 33-1 from his perspective anyway! and 28-1 for Darren Mills to just about make the leader board.  Audrey Duffy 8-1 to go back 4th, Mark Lowry 7-2, Richard Pascoe 100-30 and the final massive one was Tom Feeney 16-1 not enough to see him feature near the top.

8 winners half of them were the top 4 in the plate 10 points each at 4-9 Spenser Mills went back top with a 7-2 winner the same as Brendan Bergin, Roger Dore 7-1, & Andy Warmington 2-1 were the rest.

New leader Spenser Mills regains top spot by just 27p after his 17-2 winner, a winner shared by Andy Stevens to go 4th, Colin Warmington 15-2, Gary Dighton & Mark Nutting both 5-1.  The final 3 were 3 of the top 4 in the plate so all except Ross were on the even money 10 pointer. 

15apr23 NOT THE RACE WE WANTED TO SEE

Messy with some nasty incidents not what we wanted to see really.  Well done to Tom McGarrity for picking the winner albeit the fav 8-1.  There were 6 other winners today Shelly extended her lead with a 5-1 winner  Mark Lowry brought up a 5 timer at evens to go 7th, Andy Warmington followed up yesterday's nice winner with another this time 8-1 to go 3rd and also become the 2nd player to be certain to finish up in this comp.  George Waters 10 points and 9-2 the same as Ross Harvey who closed right up on Robert at the top of the plate despite his 2-11 winner.

3 winners today the leader Shelly Wood 7-4 to nudge a bit further clear Mark Lowry brought up a treble 5-4 and moved 11th, and Kevin Wood 16-5 to go 8th, not very good an what looked like a very pickable set of winners today at Aintree

7 winners today and another nice few winners best was Dave Sharman 16-1 to go 10th, Ross Harvey 5-4 and 10 points,  2 players got off the mark Brendan Bergin 5-1 and John Heneghan 9-1.  the other 3 were Gary Dighton 7-4, Jon Caley 11-2, Kevin Wood 2-1

that's the battle at the top as Shelly responds with a 9-2 winner to sneak back into the lead and become the first player to secure a positive total in the comp +£41 with only 36 to play.  Some pretty good other winners joint best of the day for Mark Lowry & Roger Dore at 11-1 with Steve Taylor getting off the mark with a 9-1 winner the same as Jason Stevens who goes 7th. Four other winners they were Dave Klein 7-2,  Gary Dighton 9-2 and with Stuart Bentham &  Robert Logan picking a 5 point 1-3 winner.

Well for Adrian Hunt & Andy Stevens who both had a 10-1 winner, Audrey Duffy, Colin Warmington, Terry Matthews all 11-2 leaving Ben Cheetham 11-10 as the total list of winners today 

06apr23 NEW YEAR

7 winners Leader Spenser Mills brought up a treble and 4 from last 5 with a 5-2 winner the same as Ben Cheetham who moves up to 10th. Stuart Bentham returns after a short rest with a winner 8-13 but Ross Harvey's 2nd 10 pointer in a row saw him pip Stuart by a point point 2nd that was a 7-4 winner.  Jason Stevens picked up best of the day with a 8-1 winner (that just beat mine :-( ) to move back to the leader board, kevin Wood brought up a double with a 3-1 winner and finally Vince Paige reminded the plate leaders he is still around with a 4-1 winner and 10 points.

 Spenser finally claws back the gap with a 11-2 winner today to go 52p up.  Stuart & Robert Logan both 1-2 on and 5 points but Ross Harvey bangs in a 10 pointer at 7-4.  The other winners were Adrian Hunt, Kevin Wood, & Paul Stobbart all 5-2, finally Dave Bentley 3-1 to go 11th,

6 Winners again Ross & Robert both picked separate 6-5 winners, Paul Berg 11-2, Spenser Mills made up a bit of ground on the leader with his 5-2 winner that's despite but Shelly finding an 11-10 winner herself, last of the day was also 11-10 for tom McGarrity

6 winners including a nice 17-2 winner for Andy Warmington to move back up to  5th, leader 13-8 to consolidate at the top, George Waters evens, Jason Stevens 5-1 to be just £1 down and the best of the day and off the mark for Pete Feeney 10-1, and last but never least Pete Long 100-30 to move back into a cash spot in 9th
