27may25 MONSTER

Just 3 winners today Steve Taylor & Martin Long both 7-4, but the story of the day was a 66-1 winner for Kevin Dighton, unluckily for him it is restricted to a maximum of 33-1 because he hasn't had 41 bets yet but still goes 3rd

Excel will go out after the bank holiday results

24may25 NEW LEADER

As suggested below suitably impressive performance delivered and also another good day for us with 11 winners the best so far this comp.  Clearly the best of the day 12-1 for Jake Fifield to take over at the top was the stand out, Robert Logan kept up the winners at evens, Dave Fifield, Gary Pascoe & Helen Fahey all 2-1, George Casserly 6-5, Ian Carpenter 11-10, Jimmy McGarrity 3-1, Richard Pascoe 10-11, Sonya Paige 15-8, and finally Steve Taylor nudging up another place to 3rd with a 5-4 winner.

2000g - CERT?

After Field of Gold was given such a poor ride in our 2000g then surely odds against looks good value at the Curragh today

23may25 BUMPER DAY

Think we might be getting into our stride a bit now even if we still do have two negative totals on the leader board.  Nine winners today including Robert Logan again 1-6, me 15-8, Steve Taylor nudging up a place into 4th with a 7-2 winner, Roger Dore slightly upset his 9-1 best of the day winner wasn't morning price of 16-1, Jim Doe & Tommy Smith both 3-1, Nigel Chubb 5-2 & Terry Matthews 6-1,Tom McGarrity 15-8.

19may25 JUST TWO

But pretty nice winners Ronan Casserly 15-2 and at 10-1 and best of the day was Tommy Smith

Sunday, 18 May 2025

18may25 REASONABLE

Mainly because of the two 15-2 winners for Andy Stevens moves 5th & Paul Berg moves 10th, Ben Cheetham 4-1 and Shelly Wood 2-1 were the other two.

Saturday, 17 May 2025

17may25 ANOTHER GOOD DAY

One result to come but too late to wait - some big winners today Jake Fifield 22-1 to go 2nd and dormy Kevin Wood 25-1 to go 3rd - he will have to pay attention now!  So that makes the the leader board look a little more sensible.  Other winners were Pete Long 2-1 Vince Paige 4-7, Gary Cawsey & Jimmy McGarrity 11-4

19may25 AT LAST

Finally a day with double figures number of winners for the first time this comp as reflected by the fact that £4.75 is enough for 2nd place only Mark Lowry so far making a fist of it and extended that lead again with a 5-1 winner yesterday.  Best of the day and onto the leader board was Steve Taylor 14-1 - won't do all the others!

Thursday, 15 May 2025

15may25 SOME ACTION

Six winners Pete Long 5-2, Martin Long 3-1, George Casserly 8-11, Gary Pascoe 3-1, Jimmy McGarrity best of the day 4-1 and Luke Silk 7-2

Wednesday, 14 May 2025

14may25 BUSY DAY

Over 40 players today still only 4 winners joint best of the day were Martin Long & Helen Fahey at 7-2, Tom Feeney 3-1 and Shelly Wood 11-8.  Helen Fahey brought up a 4 timer only ruined by going dormy and also getting 4 forced losers but hey she's in 6th and I'm 51st out of 53 so what do I know.  Gary Cawsey goes clear on 6 last placed selections for the bonus pot which I'm hoping might be £50 from the interest we earn on the cash deposited.

13may25 MUCH BETTER

9 winners including the leader

Tuesday, 13 May 2025

12may25 A TOUCH BETTER

Well better odds anyway but still only 2 winners Martin Long 13-2 and Mark Lowry 7-1, that lifts both of them Martin onto the leader board and Mark becomes our new leader

Monday, 12 May 2025

11may25 SOLITARY WINNER

Just Chris Pascoe 5-1 enough to scrape onto the foot of the leader board however.

Sunday, 11 May 2025

10may25 TWO AGAIN

Only Robert Logan 5-2 & Gary Cawsey 100-30 troubled the scorers today

Saturday, 10 May 2025

Wednesday, 7 May 2025

07may25 GUIDDY HEIGHTS

Well 5 winners joint best of the day just 11-10 Jimmy McGarrity & Harry Warmington, Robert Logan ploughing on 2-5 44 points clear at the top!  The other of our 5 winner haul were Ian Carpenter and Pete Long both 5-6.

Off to Barcelona for the weekend expect some delays!

Tuesday, 6 May 2025

Monday, 5 May 2025

05may25 ANOTHER ATROCIOUS DAY OF NAPPING!

Two winners Martin Long 7-2, & Gary Pascoe 15-8 was the sum total of our efforts!

Sunday, 4 May 2025

04may25 TWO BY TWO

Zhao bet looking good! Two pairs for us today, Gary Pascoe & Helen Fahey both 3-1 and two getting off the mark Chris Pascoe & Colin Warmington both 9-2 and our first person gone Dormy - Kevin Wood

03may25 Miserly

Very poor return 2-13 for Robert Logan and 11-4 for Ben Cheetham - both the leaders pulling away and that was it - top 10s updated after today's results

Saturday, 3 May 2025

02may25 GO XIAO

Four winners Sonya Paige 100-30 to go back on the leader board, Robert Logan 6-4, Jim Doe best of the day 9-2 & Steve Taylor 10-11
