Congratulations to Gary P still going and completed a 7 timer (Vince has the all time records but that must be getting close). But as if to put Gary in his place Lee saunters up and pops in a winner today to extend the gap between them in 1st & 2nd back to over 10.00.

The plate is hotting up after, a best ever, 10 winners from 20 selections today - top is now Jed on 70 points (from 29 bets), but the challengers look like Rod only 5 behind in 5th but with 3 bets in hand. However a lively outsider, being held up at the back, is past winner Val, with 17 bets in hand - if she maintains her current average points per bet she can still easily overall a 41 point gap.

Day 40 22 bets and a best ever 7 winners highlight is Gary P who completed a very rare 6 timer and is consolidated in 2nd place overall less than 10.00 behind Lee. Other noteable winners were Vince 9-1 and the best of the day John Roach 10-1 they go 19th and 15th respectively after those winners.
